Nonlinear magnetic resonance is studied in an in-plane magnetized yttrium iron garnet (YIG) film. For YIG films perpendicular to the plane, effect referred as foldover well known. It arises because precession frequency increases with deviation of magnetization. When field reduced, remains resonant demagnetizing decreases The signal disappears when radio pump power insufficient maintain a nonequilibrium state system. In film, increase amplitude. Accordingly, under field. fundamental difference that latter case should be unstable respect decay into spin wave modes. angles magnetization about 10° are reached, and rate uniform waves, which depends on angle magnetization, measured. This study opens up another way achieving magnon density corresponding formation its Bose–Einstein condensate.
